Wildfire in the Wildcats : Sep 1, 2010

BREAKING NEWS : A wildfire has broken out in the Wildcat Hill four miles south and seven miles west of Gering. The fire was started by lightening Monday night and State of Nebraska crews thought they had it out Tuesday. The fire kicked up this morning. We have images from the scene by Jim Headley. Fire crews from Scotts Bluff County Rural and Gering are having a hard time reaching the hillside where the fire is burning. The wind is picking up too!
